Rack & Shelf Labels Australia is proud to share that we have secured the contract to supply multi product home retailer Harvey Norman with the location labelling requirements for their new distribution facility in NSW. 

The project requirement includes the supply and installation of circa 30,000 location labels and is due for completion Quarter 4, 2022

Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) has been awarded the contract to fulfil the location barcode requirements for the new Myer national distribution centre in Ravenhall, Victoria.

All barcodes supplied by Rack & Shelf Labels Australia will be fully tested to internationally recognised standards, and will be supplied along with certificates of compliance using GS1 Australia approved methods. 

Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) has been awarded the contract fulfil the Bulk Storage barcode and signage requirements for Orora Beverage Cans in Auckland, New Zealand.

The solution includes the supply and installation of circa 300no barcode signs suspended at a height of 7m from the warehouse floor on over half a kilometre of capacity weight load rated infrastructure secured to the warehouse roof.

All products were successfully performance tested operationally by the client prior to manufacture.

Ron Crouch Transport engaged Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) to resolve significant barcode quality issues on pallet racking location labels at their facility in Laverton North, Victoria. A barcode scanning hardware provider had initially reported that the labels sourced locally in Victoria were substandard at the site. The customer was aware that Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) are an internationally certified barcode testing company, in addition they are a Business Alliance Partner of the global barcode standards organisation GS1, and as a result were engaged to assist. Following detailed analysis by Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia), the barcodes failed numerous quality control standards recognised by GS1. Consequently, it was necessary to replace the entire barcode location labelling system throughout the two warehouses at the site.

Leading Australian retailer Mitre 10 has instructed Rack & Shelf Labels Australia to provide the location labelling services for it’s new distribution facility in Victoria.

The contract includes the design and manufacture of circa 100,000 location labels and will take over 700 man hours to install. The project is due for completion July 2022.

Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) are delighted to announce it has completed a project to design, supply and install the barcode location labelling systems for Foodbank Victoria.

Foodbank is now the largest hunger relief organisation in Australia servicing over 2,400 charities in every state and territory to enable them to provide food to 815,000 people a month. In 2006, the then Victorian Relief Committee merged with Foodbank to become VicRelief Foodbank. It formally changed its name to Foodbank Victoria in 2011. Foodbank Victoria is now helping to feed more than 140,000 people every month. Foodbank Victoria recently implemented a new ERP system which resulted in a requirement for circa 5,000 racking spaces be labelled with location barcodes. Two sites have been completed for the charity in Yarraville and Brooklyn containing ambient, chilled and frozen areas.

Rack & Shelf Labels Australia supplied all products and services free of charge. This is part of its commitment to support charitable organisations in the communities in which it operates.

 Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) has completed a location labelling project for Victoria & California based BWX. The company, whose brands include Sukin, Flora & Fauna and Nourished Life engaged Rack & Shelf Labels to supply and install 15,000 location labels at their new Victorian facility.

Rack & Shelf Labels Australia has completed it’s latest project for leading national warehousing and fulfilment business McPhee Distribution Services.

Over 72,000 pallet racking location labels have now been supplied and installed, supporting the expansion plans of the company in Australia over the last 9 months.

To coincide with the official launch of the GS1 managed Australian National Locations Register on the 8th of December, Rack & Shelf Labels Australia is proud to announce that it is now a Business Alliance Partner of GS1 Australia.

GS1 is part of a worldwide network of GS1 organisations in over 100 countries and a global office based in Brussels, Belgium. As a member-based, not-for-profit organisation, its charter is to supply and manage barcode numbers, operate and manage supply chain standards in accordance with the global GS1 system and to provide related solutions and services to its members.

Following the findings of a steering committee that included the Australian Government, changes are being proposed to significantly improve global supply chain standards and capabilities with the implementation of Global Location Numbers and Electronic Product Code Information Services. Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) has completed work on a contract to fulfil the location labelling & signage requirements at Officeworks new facility in Derrimut, Victoria.

The project comprised of 10,000 location labels, 200 rack/door signs and over 60 hanging signs to identify floor stored pallets for the Australian stationary retailer

Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) has completed it’s latest project for The Winning Group at the organisation’s new distribution warehouse in Altona North, Victoria.
