Rack & Shelf Labels has completed work on a new distribution warehouse for the Hut Group in Victoria. The project encompassed the labelling of over 20,000 locations across a variety of storage equipment types. The project was unusual in that Rack & Shelf Labels (UK) carried out the initial project evaluation with the Hut Group’s management team who are based in the UK. Production and installation was then subsequently fulfilled by Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) at the clients facility in Altona.

Rack & Shelf Labels has completed a large project for The Automotive Brands Group. The organisation includes Autobarn, Burson Auto Parts, Autopro & Sprint Auto Parts amongst its well-known brand names.
The project at the Group’s existing facility in Nunawading, Victoria encompassed the relabelling of over 100,000 racking and shelving locations. Also included in the scope of the project was 13,000 specially manufactured label holders to mask the existing labelling system & over 600 corporate branded signs.
Following in the footsteps of the UK business, Rack & Shelf Labels Australia continues to increase export volumes with it’s latest international project for motor accessory specialist Rhino-Rack. The scope of the project is to provide location labelling products and services to three sites in Perth WA, Wellington, New Zealand and Denver, Colorado in the USA. The business was awarded following the successful implementation of a project for Rhino-Rack at their new distribution facility in Eastern Creek, NSW.
We have completed work on three brand new facilities for the major 3PL company Mainfreight. Project Kookaburra in NSW comprised of two adjacent facilities containing over 27,000 pallet locations. This was delivered simultaneously with an additional project to provide location labelling services to another facility for the client in Kewdale, WA. This particular operation had a 7,000-pallet capacity and was successfully completed over 2 phases.
Rack & Shelf Labels Australia has completed the labelling of two distribution facilities for the electrical goods retailer Miele. The sites in NSW and Queensland were completed simultaneously and included flexible solutions for floor marking and labelling of large block stack floor locations.
Rack & Shelf Labels Australia has secured the contract to relabel the entire distribution network for Martin Brower in Australia & New Zealand. The company who service McDonalds restaurants is upgrading it’s supply chain and considers the thorough evaluation of the location labelling system a fundamental part of this process. This decision follows the successful labelling of a number of sites for the organisation in the UK by The Rack & Shelf Labels Group.

Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) has completed work on a new parts facility for a Swedish motor manufacturer in NSW. From commission to completion in an overall timeframe of less five weeks, Rack & Shelf Labels Australia was able to assist and support the client with considerable timeline constraints & pressures.
Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) has commenced the labelling of a second facility for an International 3PL contract to service a major Swedish furniture retailer. The site in Queensland will be completed in phases over a two month period and follows completion of a similar facility in Victoria.
We have completed work on a warehouse location labelling solution for De Bruyn’s Transport in Tasmania. The project required the barcoded labelling of over 20,000 racking locations following the client’s acquisition of a new warehouse management system. The job was complicated by the fact that 50% of the warehouse had an operating temperature of -28o C.
The project was completed in just over 7 days.
