Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) has now added NSW to the list of communities it has supported as part of its ongoing partnership with the Foodbank throughout Australia.

On any given day in Australia, more than half a million households are struggling to put food on the table. Foodbank is Australia’s largest food relief organisation, operating on a scale that makes it crucial to the work of the front-line charities who are feeding vulnerable Australians. Foodbank provides more than 70% of the food rescued for food relief organisations nation-wide.

The scope of the project was to supply and install circa 5,000 location labels with fully certified barcodes and 56 racking signs at the Foodbanks distribution facility in Glendenning, NSW.

Lincoln Pool Equipment has embarked on the implementation of new Warehouse Management System software throughout it’s business.

An essential part of this upgrade was a necessity to source new barcode location labels for it’s three facilities in Victoria, New South Wales & Queensland.

Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) is proud to share that it has been awarded the contract to provide the products and services to fulfil this requirement. The total undertaking comprises of the supply and installation of 15,000 location labels across the 3 sites, with fully certified barcodes to ensure maximum returns on the IT investment. The project is due to be completed in Q2, 2024.

Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) has recently been awarded the contracts to label six sites serving multiple customers for leading 3PL CEVA Logistics across five states.

Starting with the project implementation at two sites in Berrinba, Brisbane in November and December 2023, they also include the provision of location label products and installation services at facilities in Cranbourne Victoria, Wattle Grove WA, Woodville SA and Kemps Creek NSW.

Once completed, over 150,000 location labels with fully certified barcodes will have been manufactured and installed at the sites which have been managed via Rack & Shelf Labels three state offices in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

All 6 projects are due for completion by February 2024.

Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) is delighted to announce it has been awarded the contract to provide location labelling products and services for the new Metcash facility in Truganina, Victoria.

At 115,000 square metres, the warehouse is reportedly the largest in the Southern hemisphere by footprint size. The facility heads the Victorian operations of the grocery wholesaler and it’s network of IGA supermarkets.

The project encompasses the supply and installation of circa 120,000 racking labels, 30,000 shelving labels and 1,000 rack end signs and is due for completion Q1 2024.

Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) is currently supporting the implementation of 3 major distribution facilities in WA. The projects are being delivered simultaneously with onsite management from Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) project team. The brand new operations for Officeworks and Mainfreight Logistics, and the expansion of an existing site for Metcash are all due for completion Q3.

Foodbank WA had a requirement for product information and pricing to be visually accessible alongside stock. This was in an ongoing effort to improve efficiencies in their operations. Rack & Shelf Labels Australia were delighted to be given the opportunity to assist Foodbank WA with its needs. As a result, 600 shelves were provided with 1.8 meter wide data strips. This was to allow a flexible labelling solution to accommodate the ever changing and evolving stock holding.

Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) has won another large contract to fulfil the location labelling requirements for the Australian retailer Target in Truganina, VIC.

The project encompasses the supply and installation of circa 130,000 location labels and 650 warehouse signs. The project specification includes a specialist solution to identify product locations in the hanging garment section of the facility. 

Rack & Shelf Labels (Australia) is delighted to announce it has won a contact to provide location labelling products and services for a new DHL facility in Ravenhall, Victoria.

The scope of the project is to supply and install 210,000 barcoded location labels for a site servicing one of the worlds largest sporting goods manufacturers, and is due for completion Q3 2023.

Rack & Shelf Labels Australia has completed its latest project for the leading Australian retailer Officeworks in Altona, Victoria.

The requirement included the supply and installation of 50,000 location labels with fully certified barcodes to approved GS1 standards and 500 warehouse signs. 

Rack & Shelf Labels Australia is delighted to announce that it has supplied products and services into three new facilities for New Zealand clothing manufacturer AS Colour.

The sites which are in Carson, California and Charlotte, North Carolina in the USA and Leighton Buzzard in the UK encompassed circa 150,000 locations.

The USA products were manufactured in Australia with the UK products supplied from the UK to Australian designs.

The Rack & Shelf Labels Group has again collaborated to deliver a barcode location labelling project, this time for renowned hardware manufacturer Black & Decker in Auckland, NZ. The project was implemented by Black & Decker UK, and the sale & project design process was handled by Rack & Shelf Labels UK, before being passed to the Australian division for manufacture and installation.

The project comprises of 13,000 barcode location labels, and 200 signs. The project is due for completion in January 2023.
